Composer Olle Nielsen, made it to the Final at the 7th Internationella Filmmusicfestival in Ubeda, Spain.
The “Jerry Goldsmith Award”, in eight categories, is given to composers working in the spirit of Goldsmith. This year 324 entries came in from Europé, USA and Asia. Olle is one out of five remaining composers in the category: “Best Promotion Score”.
The music is written for the film “And there was light” that were produced by Scandvision for an exhibition in Gothenburg, depicting the works of DaVinci, Rafael och Michelangelo.The festival is happening from the 18th to the 24th of July 2011, with seminars, workshops, lectures and is ended with concerts and the big award ceromony.
